Where there’s a need, there’s a Leo

The Greendale Lions are inviting students to join Leos, a service club for youth ages 12 to 18.  Becoming a Leo will provide Greendale youth the opportunity to experience the satisfaction of providing service to their local community. Club members will create club’s service projects while developing leadership skills that will serve them for life. As a sponsor, the Greendale Lions Club will provide advisors and shepherd the club through the club’s founding process. Leo club members are addressed as “Leos.” They conduct projects in the fields of health care, elders, children, disabled people, literacy, education, self-development and other community projects. Leos can conduct fund-raising projects. They can conduct projects with another Leo club, sponsoring Lions club, or with an outside organization. Leo clubs are sponsored by Lions clubs and are an official program of Lions Clubs International. As a Leo you will be a member of the world’s largest service club, Lions International.

They are devoted young people who realize the power of action. Together, Leos and Lions form a powerful partnership – one of mutual respect where Lions learn from the innovative insights of Leos, and where Leos gain access to the proven strategies of those who’ve successfully served the world for decades.
